My main focus is Viscos at Bell Energy: software for engineers carrying out process hazard and risk assessments. I work on the product interface, from structured study worksheets and reusable libraries to reviewing AI suggestions and connecting hazard studies with layer-of-protection assessments.

A large part of that work is making complex information editable without losing its relationships. Atlas, the worksheet engine inside Viscos, turns hierarchical study data into a spreadsheet interface. The details matter: where keyboard focus goes, what happens when a parent changes, and whether an edit can be undone.

At Bell Immersive, my work includes ALERTSim’s web interfaces for emergency response training. Scenario setup and live participation pose different problems, but both depend on helping people understand what is happening and what they can do next.

Outside those products, I build smaller applications and developer tools. Meeqat explores mosque-announced prayer times on iOS. Trove is a local prototype for a searchable library of personal belongings. My public tools include shadcn-lab and Text Highlighter.

Across these projects, I keep coming back to the same work: understanding a task, finding the right structure for it, and refining the interactions until the software is easier to use.
